          National Women's Month is a time to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women to society. However, there is still much work to be done to achieve gender equality and empower women to reach their full potential. National Women's Month serves as a reminder of the ongoing struggle for gender equality and highlights the need for continued efforts to address gender-based discrimination and violents against women.         National Women's Month also provides a platform to raise awareness about the challenges that women face and to promote policies and initiatives that support women's right and empowerment. It is a time to acknowledge the diversity of women's experiences and to recognize the intersectional nature of gender inequality. 

                Kannawidan, a cultural festival held yearly in the northern Philippine province of Ilocos Sur, is a celebration of Ilocano culture that highlights the distinct traditions, customs, and practices of the Ilocano people.
