Heroes in the next generations

Heroes in the next generations             National Children’s Month is celebrated in November in the Philippines every year. This month-long celebration aims to give Filipino children access to a healthy environment, good education, and healthcare. Dr. Jose Rizal, the Philippines’ national hero, once said that the youth is the future of the nation, and investing in children is key for the betterment of the next generation. This holiday also comes from a place of empathy. As a third-world country, most families struggle financially, and it’s the children who suffer the most. This month highlights the ways we can help and support them.             Before the Philippines started observing National Children’s Month, many countries around the world had already been celebrating ‘Children’s Day.’ It began in June 1857 when Reverend Dr. Charles Leonard conducted a special service for the children. Initially, he first called it ‘Rose Day,’ then ‘Flower Sunday,’ and was finally rename

Reflection                What I have learned in the first quarter. I know we only started face to face classes 3 months ago but I have encountered alot of problems and challenges. But before that, let me introduce myself first. I'm Mark Christian Quercol, and I'm curently a Grade-10 student.                  Face to Face classes. At first, I have difficulties on learning, but I tried my best and I'm doing just Great. The second challenge i encountere was waking up early in the morning. Because before the face to face classes started i use to wake up late and stay up all night, but now that face to face classes have started I need to get used on waking up early. The third and last challenge I have enountered is having a tight schedule.                Those are the challenges I have encountered in the first quarter.

March 11, 2020 the day that the pandemic started. Covid-19, the desease caused by the SARS-CoV-2. The virus first appeared on a small scale in November 2019 with the first large cluster appearing in Wuhan, China in December 2019.         The pandemic has also crushed my goals and affect my education. As a result, the unprecedented global crisis caused by the pandemic had a major impact on my mental health. The new mode of learning which is the "New Normal of Education" was declared to avoid high risk of students and teachers from the dangerous virus. In the middle of the pandemic I'm always inside our house doing activities and answering modules, I'm also babysitting my younger brother whenever my parents are going out to buy some food and if I have extra time, I'm always spending it on playing online games.
